This weekend I started in on a landscape project that Sarah and I designed. After drawing up a couple of designs and deciding on one, we did all the measuring. Once we had all the numbers crunched we made a stop at Menards to pick up the timber needed to complete the project. So on Saturday morning about 9:30am I started digging and leveling. I worked until about 7PM. On Sunday I started working again at abut 10am and finished up by 1pm. Our original design that we liked kind of went to the way side due to what I had to work with as far as the land slopes went. The first part of the project is done and I am out of wood. Once I get more wood I will start the second part (the step up inside the large side area between the two windows, see pic below). I have posted some before and after pictures to this point and I will post the finished project pictures once it is complete.

Today was a pretty laid back day. I have been trying to keep myself busy doing things outside the house so I wouldn’t bother Sarah as she prepaired herself for finals week. So I decided to clean up my wire mess that I made for myself back when I wired up my house. It was a pretty big mess that needed to be cleaned up and organized but I never really wanted to take the time to do it. Once I got started it became apparent that this was no easy task with trying to keep everything in order so I’d remember how to hook things back up. After spending over 2 hours on it I finally got everything hooked backup right and the mess looks a lot better. I still have some work to do with it but I need to find a F81 Barrel connecting Block (if they even make such a thing) so I can run all the cables to a central point and just jump the ones I am using to the Satellite feed. Yesterday Sarah and I went to The House Of Pizza for a softball team fundrasing event that a couple of my co-workers play for. It was a really good deal that I couldn’t pass up. $10 per person for all you could eat and drink pizza and pop/beer from 12pm to 5pm. We got there at about 3pm or shortly there after. Pizza was good and beer was cold. After 5:30 we left to meet up with some friends/co-workers at the La Ca-cita for a cinco de’ Mayo celebration beer. They went down town and we went home. I proceeded to have a couple more beers but thats where things went wrong and the alcohol abuse took place. You see we were sitting in the living room watching some TV when Sarah fell asleep. We were watching some SNL that must have been pretty boring cuz after Sarah fell asleep I to was checking the backs of my eye lids for holes. Next thing I know I woke up and had beer soaked pants and chair. OOPS! Dam I hate when I abuse alcohol like that. Oh well it was a fun night that had a wet end
