Last weekend, on Sunday,  Sarah and I went to her dad’s house for a fathers day visit. On the way home we stopped at Mill’s Fleet Farm and looked at there shrub selection. We picked up 4 Potentilla Shrubs. Two white and two yellow ones. They were on sale and are guaranteed for a year, which is a good thing knowing that I’m not a green thumb.  We then stopped at Home Depot and found two nice woodward globe arborvitaes. They too were on sale……. Score! I got them all planted trying to follow the directions the best I could…… Well it’s been a week now and all are still green and the shrubs are actually producing flowers. Lets see if they actually make it through this year.

I have downloaded, installed and now testing out windows live writer. Steve has told me about it multiple times and I decided I would try it out. We will see if I like it…..

So now 2 weekends have went by since part 1 of my weekend landscape project and I must say things are starting to look pretty good. Last weekend I finished up laying the timbers into place and leveling all the dirt within. This weekend I put in the rock. Now the only part left is to get the flowers, bushes and abovities and get them planted.

I don’t have pictures from the progress I made last weekend but here is how far I got after this weekend.
